Lydia's Blessing Day

Today was Lydia's Blessing day. Here she is in her dress that both Grandmas helped me make. Here middle name came from her Grandma Nancy Jane. Here are the two Janes.
And here is the whole crew. It was so fun to have the grandparents here with us.
The girls loved their new dresses too. (Thanks to Grandma Nancy) They weren't as excited about pictures though.
It was a beautiful day and a beautiful blessing. We are so grateful for the Priesthood and the blessing of this new little girl.

She's Finally Here

Lydia Jane was born January 8, 2008 at 1:20pm.

The pediatrician said she was half grown weighing in at 8 lbs and 20 1/2 inches long. Daniel had been such a great support through the pregnancy and delivery. He has arranged childcare and meals and watched the girls, not to mention being there for the delivery. He seems thrilled to have a new baby to hold and I love to see the joy in his eyes as he holds her.
Eliza loves 'baby Eeah' and wants to hold her whenever she can. Liesel is starting to notice she isn't the baby anymore and hasn't quite decided how she feels. Time will tell.
I feel so blessed to have this new little girl in our home and am excited to be a forever family. Stay tuned for more pics!

Time with Dad

The girls have loved having their dad home for the Christmas holiday and for new years. Some of the fun activities we did with dad were:

An Egg Carton Lunch in a fort...I was gone to lunch so Daniel built the girls a fort and made them a little lunch and even took pictures. What a great Dad he is.
A visit to the Olympic Training Center!

And Popcorn and Orange Julius on Sunday evening...the girls loved the sugar high!

Daniel-the time with you seemed magical. Thank you for being the best dad and husband your girls could ask for!
