My mother taught me how to make bread when I was young and it has been one of my favorite household chores since then. This last week when I made bread I decided I wanted to make a scrapbook page out of the process so I took a bunch of pictures and I thought they turned out fun. So here are the tips I learned from my mom with the pictures.
Always
mix the dry ingredients in first. Then add the water.
When you think you are done kneading,
always knead five more minutes.

Eliza loves to like the spoon after I am done mixing! Maybe someday she will be
our little bread maker.

Make sure the bread is in a
warm place to rise.

Bake at 350 for 30 min.

After baking, remove from pans and
let cool on a wire rack. Don't forget to
grease the tops while they are still warm.

Heather and Jessica--Here is a challenge for you to get your blogs started. Describe one of your favorite "chores" that mom taught you how to do.
