Our day was fantastic. It started of with watering the garden and quickly turned into a water fight between Eliza and the hose. She was drenched from head to toe by the end but loved every minute of it.We went swimming after Liesel's nap and that was a blast. Liesel is quite the swimmer and probably would have loved to stay another hour. Eliza did actually get in the water this time which was a huge improvement from our last visit. She is starting to see the fun it can be.
Later in the day we went to the Egbert's for a BBQ. The food was great. Liesel probably ate more than I did and Eliza carried her root beer glass around the whole time.
She finally figure out if she would stand at the jug long enough, someone would come fill up her glass again.
The evening ended with sparklers! The kids loved them so much that we couldn't light them fast enough. They didn't even care that it was still light out.
